What Is Pack Rewards?
Pack Rewards is a free loyalty program that gives pet owners one shared set of points across Doggie Dude Ranch and Dingo’s Natural Pet. Boarding, daycare, and grooming at the Ranch, self-wash and grooming at Dingo’s, and food purchases in-store or online all add to the same balance. Members earn at least 1 point for every $1 spent and move up through four tiers (Trail Member, Base Camp, Summit, and Fourteener), with each step earning faster and unlocking more perks. Points can be redeemed for services at either business, from a self-wash to a free night of boarding. Joining costs nothing, and points start counting from your first visit.
If you’ve ever picked up a bag of food at Dingo’s and, a few weeks later, dropped that same pet off for a stay at the Ranch, you’ve been a customer of both without anything tying the two together. This month, that changes. Our two sister companies are launching Pack Rewards so that spending at either one works in your favor at both.
You can see the full program details on the Pack Rewards page. Let’s explore what the program looks like in everyday life, and which pet families are likely to get the most from it.
How Does Pack Rewards Work in Practice?
The idea is meant to be simple. You sign up once, and every qualifying purchase at either business builds a single points balance. You don’t pick a “home” store, and you don’t have to split your loyalty between two programs.
Where the program gets interesting is the climb. Everyone starts as a Trail Member, and as your balance grows, you move up the mountain to Base Camp, then Summit, then Fourteener. Each tier earns points faster than the last (topping out at 2 points per dollar), and the perks stack, so reaching a higher tier never costs you what you unlocked earlier.
What Does a Year of Normal Spending Actually Earn?
Loyalty programs are easy to describe and hard to picture, so here are three sample pet families. These are illustrations built on the Ranch’s published $64 nightly dog boarding rate and a hypothetical food budget, all at the starting earning rate.
| Pet Family | Sample Spending | Approximate Points | What It Adds Up To |
| Boards once a year | One 7-night dog stay (about $448) | ~450 points | About three-quarters of the way to a free self-wash |
| Food and bath regular | $80 a month on food ($960 a year) | ~960 points | Enough for a free self-wash or a $25 grooming reward |
| Uses both businesses | Two 7-night stays (about $896) plus $960 in food | ~1,850 points | Crosses into Base Camp, which includes 50% off a night at the Ranch, and earning speeds up from there |
Your own numbers will differ, of course, and earning accelerates as you climb. But the third row shows the real point of a shared program: neither the food spending nor the boarding spending would have reached a meaningful reward on its own that quickly, yet together they get there within a year.
Which Pet Families Benefit Most?
Dogs who live for bath day. If your dog is a regular at Dingo’s self-wash or grooming, points add up toward more of the same. A free self-wash takes 600 points, and grooming rewards start at $25. At the Summit tier, self-washes at Dingo’s become unlimited and free, which is a big deal for anyone with a muddy Colorado trail dog.
Families who only board once or twice a year. This is where the shared balance really helps. Points from food, grooming, and self-wash can be put toward the Ranch Pass, a 1,000-point reward that guarantees a boarding spot instead of a place on the waitlist. With Thanksgiving and winter holiday travel approaching, that can take real stress out of trip planning. And at the top Fourteener tier, boarding requests come with a guaranteed 48-hour confirmation.
Cat families. Cats count too. Cat food bought at Dingo’s earns points like any other food purchase, and Ranch spending feeds the same balance, so a household with one dog and two cats isn’t left on the sidelines.
Households that already do it all. Food from Dingo’s, a groom every few weeks, and a couple of boarding stays a year is the fastest path up the tiers. At Summit, every Ranch stay includes a free luxury bath with ear cleaning, a full blow-out, and a nail trim, so your pet comes home from the Ranch freshly done.
Why Are Doggie Dude Ranch and Dingo’s Teaming Up?
Both businesses care for the same people and the same pets. The same family who buys natural food for their dog may also need boarding for a summer trip, and the same owner who boards their cat with us may be shopping for litter and treats next door. A loyalty program that only recognized one half of that relationship always felt incomplete. Pack Rewards ties the two together, so your loyalty is recognized wherever you show up.
How Do I Join Pack Rewards?
Signing up is free, and there are three ways to do it:
- At the Ranch: Ask at the front desk of Doggie Dude Ranch and the O’Cat Corral.
- In-store at Dingo’s: Sign up at the counter at the Westminster or Reunion location. Store details are on the Dingo’s website.
- Online: Join at checkout when you order food or supplies from the Dingo’s online shop.
Pack Rewards Questions, Answered
Is Pack Rewards free? Yes. There’s no fee to join, and points start counting on your first visit.
Do my points work at both businesses? Yes. Points earned at Doggie Dude Ranch and at Dingo’s go into one shared balance, and you can redeem them for services at either one.
How many points do I earn per dollar? Every member earns at least 1 point per dollar spent anywhere in the pack. Higher tiers earn faster: 1.25 points per dollar at Base Camp, 1.5 at Summit, and 2 at Fourteener.
How many points does it take to move up a tier? Base Camp starts at 1,500 points, Summit at 3,500, and Fourteener at 6,000.
What can I redeem points for? Rewards are services rather than products, including self-washes, grooming credits, luxury baths, free boarding nights, birthday parties, and the Ranch Pass. The full catalog is on the Pack Rewards page.
What is the Ranch Pass? It’s a 1,000-point reward that guarantees a boarding spot at Doggie Dude Ranch in place of joining the waitlist, which makes it a good fit for owners who board only once or twice a year.
